Joseph Kokumu

Joseph Kokumu is a Research, Monitoring and Evaluation expert with background in statistics and experience in public health. He has over five years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and research roles at Amref Health Africa in Kenya, where he plays a key role in enhancing the organization’s M&E and research processes. Joseph currently serves as the M&E Lead for Power to You(th) Project in Kenya, where he provides M&E technical expertise and support the program in planning, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (PMEAL), as well as offer M&E technical support to the Civil Society Organizations that Power to You(th) collaborates with. He is currently pursuing three masters programs: Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Amref International University, Master of Science in Digital Transformation at Nexford University, and MSc in Data Science at the University of East London, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Statistics from Egerton University. Joseph has a wealth of experience in M&E and research, providing technical expertise and support to programmes in planning, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (PMEAL). He is an expert in programme development and implementation, research design, data management, data quality assurance, data analysis, and data visualization, and is passionate about leveraging data for evidence-based programming and decision-making. He is a multi-award-winning digital creative recognized for his impact in the digital spaces and is committed to driving best practices in M&E, research, and digital transformation.
